Over Counter Sales Representative / Stock assistant / For Irrigation, Electric Motor AND Water Pump Supplies

One of the largest Pump, Electric Motor, Irrigation and HVAC equipment related distributors is looking to hire a Counter Sales Representative.

Duties include:

Assist customers in a courteous and timely manner. (This is a top priority.)

Point of Sale

Field incoming sales calls and assist with equipment related questions.

Process customer Sales Orders advising on product application, availability, correct part, catalog or issue number, shipping charges, and price.

Process customer Work Orders, identify equipment problem and follow up with customer.

Follow inventory control procedures as instructed.

Keep store front organized and stocked.

Promote a professional company image through prompt and courteous customer service.

Followup on all quotations.

Qualifications

Must have excellent communication skills.

Experience in sales, customer service and/or purchasing as well as basic knowledge of electrical apparatus, Irrigation and or pool supplies is desirable.

Courteous and friendly, professional telephone manner.

Ability to function in a busy, fast-paced stressful counter atmosphere.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50+ pounds

Bilingual a plus. Hours are Mon - Friday and 8am-1pm on Saturdays

Must Be Drug Free

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour based on experience

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Irrigation supplies / Water Pump or Electric Motor: 2 years (Preferred)
